NNPC STAFF WENT ON STRIKE

The NNPC staff went on stick was embanked on by the worker this morning because of government policy to defragment the company into many more sectors as announced by the Minister of State of petroleum.
The staff went on stick because they did not support the unbundle policy that the federal government is trying to introduced in the organization.
The staffs that reported to their offices this morning could not find access into their places of work because the union has locked the entire company premises to enforced the effect of the strike  action.
However, the minister of petroleum state Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachukwu said the worker misunderstood him. He said that all the sub sectors mentioned are already in existence, is just to separate responsibilities of this subsectors of the company for effective productivity.
